This role will join their biosciences division and lead the biologics method development team.Our client is seeking a motivated individual to lead the method development group for LCMS, being the scientific spokesperson for customer projects.Discover more about our Director Biologics, LCMS Method Development opportunity; its objectives, duties/responsibilities and the skills, experience and competencies needed to succeed.What you will do:As the Director Biologics, LCMS Method Development, your duties and responsibilities will include:Serve as technical lead and point of contact for clients.Leads complex technical projects for the organization, often on a global scale.Responsible for hiring, onboarding, and performance management of a team.May serve as technical lead and primary point of contact for clients on proposal generation.Responsible for mentoring and development of team members.People management and setting up operations for client timelines.Lead the Biologics LCMS method development for client projects.These are the skills and experience you will need to succeed as the Director Biologics, LCMS Method Development:Strong knowledge of drug metabolism and biotransformation concepts and experimental techniques.Scientific degree, BS, MSc or PhD preferred.Several years experience of leading teams of 3 or more people.Extensive experience (10 or more years), in method or assay development.Experience working with LCMS instrumentation, specifically, triple quadrupole mass spectrometer and quadrupole orbitrap mass spectrometer.Experience working in a customer facing role.Experience working in a regulated bioanalytical environment (GLP).
