You'll lead with purpose, breaking down barriers to innovation in a more connected, compassionate world.A Day in the LifeResponsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.Minimum Requirements:High School Diploma/GEDRequires advanced knowledge within a specific discipline typically gained through extensive work experience and/or education.Requires minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; may require vocational or technical education and advanced certification in addition to prior work experience.Nice to HaveEngineering, technician related degree preferred.Hands-on experienceStrong problem-solving skillsStrong team playerPrior experience in medical device in an FDA-regulated environment.Practical knowledge and understanding of electricity, electronics, controls, sensors.Practiced knowledge and understanding of motors, mechanical systems, and pneumatics.Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)Ability to ready and interpretate blueprints, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.Ability to utilize calibration and measuring equipment, i.e., micrometers, calipers, optical comparators.Physical Job RequirementsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
