Accounting Manager Busy real estate company is hiring a Regional Accounting Manager. Ideal candidate has had 3+ years leadership experience. Must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment. This position is high in transactions. ResponsibilitiesManage a team of up to 4, training and mentoringResponsible for ensuring the accounting tasks are performed accurately and timely for month-end close and as necessary for other transactions (debt service, renovations/capital, etc). The financial statements are maintained on either a GAAP basis or the income tax basis of accounting.Manage all aspects of cash flow including reporting and projecting weekly cash requirements, processing vendor payables, payroll, debt service and other such tasks.Responsible for ensuring monthly agency taxes are computed and reported accurately and timely. Coordinate and manage any tax audit engagements, analysis and resolution of audit findings and proposed tax assessments.Identify and analyze lease transactions for proper accounting treatment.Support annual audit providing necessary data and explanations requested by auditors.QualificationsBachelor's degree7+ years of accounting experienceExcellent written and verbal communicationAbility to manage multiple priorities
