ShiftWe are looking for a seasoned PA to work an average of 36 hours per week over the course of a 13-week schedule. This is a night shift position (6:00 PM to 6:00 AM). Weekends and Holidays are included. General SummaryOur PAs work under the supervision and direction of our supervising physicians to ensure high quality, safe and timely care for patients with various chief complaints. The PA team manages very sick patients, handles various high acuity procedures, and performs medical screening examinations in order to stabilize and treat those seeking services from the Emergency Room. The PA may assume care for patients of all ages within the scope of their professional practice guidelines and may support all areas of the department including working 10-20% of their scheduled shifts in the Medical Observation Unit where they will be primarily responsible for admission orders, rounding on patients, and for writing daily progress and disposition notes.
