Experience in developing complete packages of power distribution center, high/low voltage circuit breakers, feeder position, transformer replacement and substation switchgear is preferred.Candidates should have the ability to:interpret electrical design concepts, determine requirements of detailed drawings, identify design problems and recommend changesreview electrical schematic wiring diagrams and supporting documents and ensure that design plan is in accordance with the client's standards and international acceptable codes.execute project task plans.compare schematic drawings with wiring diagrams for accuracy.design and create final electrical construction wiring drawingsprepare schematic diagrams, block diagrams and control drawings and interconnection diagramssupervise workers engaged in draftingreview work orders and procedural manuals and confer with vendors, clients and supervisor to resolve problems and modify designs.coordinate across disciplinesperform check print reviewsexercise sound judgment in design methodsaccurately estimate completion time of assignmentseffectively communicate with co-workers and client's representatives (Engineers, Designers, Project Managers) in a positive, cooperative team-oriented environment. successful candidate will have:associates Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or Engineering Technology Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalentminimum 2 years' experience as Electrical Designer or as Electrical Engineer.proficiency in AutoCAD requiredproficiency in Microstation is not required but considered a plus proficiency in Revit 3D is not required but considered a plusknowledge of NEC and electrical industry standardshigh level communication and organizational skillsthe ability to work in a fast paced environmentwilling to travel occasionally nationwide (less than 5% travel)US citizenship, or must have the ability to legally work in the United States a US Drivers license and ability to drive to project sites/meetings occassionallyCompetitive Salary with benefits including 401k, Stock Purchase Plan, Health, Dental, Vision.
