Oversees and manages the Office of Research finances, compiling data for decision making. Serves as the business/financial officer for the Office of Research, providing oversight of financial aspects of research units, including, but not limited to, analyzing unit budgets, preparing overall Office of Research annual budget, ensuring adequate ledger/account reconciliation, preparing monthly financial reports and reviewing those reports with the VPR and others as appropriate. Manages Human Resource administrative actions, as well as facilities management and departmental operations and administration, including financial management by reviewing and approving reports and other submissions by unit directors and VPR Office staff of P-card/T&E card purchases, Concur entries, SciQuest transactions, and other university financial expenditure systems.
