GENERAL SUMMARY/ OVERVIEW STATEMENT:Under the supervision of the Associate Director, Senior Developer, and other Developers/support personnel, the incumbent will assist with the development and maintenance of complex applications used to support the MGH Cancer Center Protocol Office. Job OverviewThe Head of Developer Automation and Integration will manage a small team that provides and operates the developer tooling, automation and integration to the Quantitative Investment Research group and the Research Systems group. The group provides a key function within the department that allows us to achieve the velocity and quality needed inside of our DevOps model, delivering large scale data and HPC solutions on the cloud.Apart from managing the team, the expectation of the role is to be hands-on for a large portion of the time, including providing production support as needed.The role also manages the pool of Front-End Engineers that are embedded into other teams on a rotational basis.In this role, the candidate will play a key role within the firm when it comes furthering modern architectures and delivering a system that plays a central function within the firm.
