Duties and Responsibilities: * Manage commercial relationships and technical service needs of existing polyurethane systems accounts. * Develop new business and maintain current business within the designated technology segment. * Provide technical assistance on spray elastomer products and equipment. Support will include phone, email, and on-site visits. * Support product management team and R&D by conducting evaluations on company and competitor products, both internally and externally with customers. * Generate and follow through on all new leads and referrals presented from internal and external sources. * Coordinate and communicate critical information between customers and the Company regarding shipping, schedules, forecasts, quality, technical issues, pricing, and other miscellaneous issues. * Participate in cross-functional teams where new technology may be developed. * Act in accordance with company policies and best practices. Working Conditions: * Most work will take place in an environmentally controlled office environment, but visits to external customer sites may be necessary. Such visits could include exposure to hot or cold temperatures and various types of weather conditions. * Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some work after normal business hours or on weekends may be required to support business demands. * Required travel is estimated at 50%. #LI-MN1Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: * Direct experience with insulation, coatings, building envelope systems, and/or roofing systems. * Effective written and verbal communication skills, including a high level of effective presentation skills to individuals and groups. * Strong organizational and time management skills * Ability to use the scientific method of hypothesis and experimentation. * Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, as well as other web-based applications such as customer relations management systems. * Demonstrated focus on delivering optimal customer service directed at meeting sutomer needs and company goals and objectives. * Ability to influence key external stakeholders in the design process. * Must have a valid drivers' license and possess the ability to travel as needed by vehicle or aircraft. Education and Experience: * Bachelor's degree or higher in biology, chemistry, engineering, or a related field. * 3 to 5 years of successful product development and technical service experience. * Direct experience with polyurethane systems in the case, binders, and/or foam markets, including experience as an applicator and technical troubleshooting. * Selling experience or business development in polyurethane or related OEM markets preferred. * Demonstrated success in managing small and large accounts required.
