The Institute’s goal is to assist low-income and/or first-generation college students currently in high school to prepare for success in college. The six-week programs provide participants with fast-paced, intensive academic coursework and teambuilding, social and emotional well-being, cultural and other enrichment activities within a hybrid setting. During the non-residential component of the academy, the Teaching Assistant will support the teachers in the classroom and students for their academic needs both virtually and in-person.
