Position Overview Administer safety point programs, the Safety Manager with administrative duties, and manage driver coaching and monitoring. Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions) Assists with workers' compensation claims; Forward documentation/reports to the claims department. Maintains safety files and documentation, records, and training database. Monitors training database for expiration of training dates, assist with scheduling training. Assists in preparing all notices required by OSHA, MSHA and other agencies. Responsible for maintaining, updating, and distribution of safety related programs, including calculations for the safety incentive program. Assist with AED rental, fire extinguisher, and First Aid inspection program. Order and issue PPE and Safety Boot Voucher as needed. Assists with new employee safety orientation and other required safety training. Assist the Safety Manager with administrative duties such as year-end reporting, review permit compliance and assisting with SDS management for all facilities.
