The Hardware Installer is responsible for performing precision installation of hardware including helicoids, pins, pemserts, screws, epoxy etc for the Aerospace and Defense industries. This is a critical role within the manufacturing team and requires a detailed mind set. This individual will be expected to embrace and exhibit our culture or honesty, integrity, and good corporate citizenship. This role reports directly to the Plant Manager. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Strive towards a culture of proactive safety. Installation of various components of hardware per specification or direction from supervisor. Ability to read and understand blueprints, hardware specifications and tolerances. Critical attention to detail while performing job function. Other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma, or General Education Degree (GED). Understanding of CNC machine set up, tool identification and machine fixtures. Previous experience using precision tools such as micrometers and calipers. Demonstrated ability to solve highly technical problems. Strong verbal communication.
