SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the assigned bridge crew machine. The machine can include the operation of a mini or full-size excavator, backhoe, or other assigned equipment.  When not actively operating the equipment, the operator participates in the hands-on construction and maintenance of bridges and structures composed of timber, steel and concrete.  The operator carries out all responsibilities in accordance with G&W safety policies and applicable laws, working under direction of the Bridge Foreman or Supervisor.   The position involves 100% travel across the Genesee & Wyoming system in Continental US, typically working (8) 10-hour days followed by 6 days off.  Travel to and from the job is on the off time.  Overtime, while minimized, is expected.  Lodging, Per diem and travel reimbursement are in accordance with current RES policy.             RESPONSIBILITIES:   Operate the assigned RES Bridge equipment in a safe an efficient manner. Operate in accordance with all applicable policies and procedures for the assigned equipment. Fill out and maintain required regulatory forms via electronic means. Perform all daily operator preventative maintenance checks and services. Investigate and accurately report mechanical concerns so that the proper repair can be scheduled. Perform day-to-day hands-on activities of a bridge crew when not actively operating equipment. Work at excess heights and in adverse weather conditions. Work with hand, gas, hydraulic, and other powered tools. Participate in job briefings and understand daily production goals. Promote a safe and drug free working environment. Complete other projects and duties as assigned. 100% travel required.     REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:   Must have experience operating heavy equipment, including excavators. Must have experience driving a CDL truck while pulling a heavy equipment trailer. 1-3 years of railroad or construction experience required. Act as a liaison between various field teams during all emergency and or abnormal operating conditions and during the activation of Client Incident Command systemPosition will have basic knowledge of production, completions, work over and drilling operationsSurveillance of Client's onshore assetsRoot cause analysis through Cygnet and Foresite. Utilizes Cygnet and ForeSite to drive efficiency, well optimization, and root cause analysis. Monitoring cygnet to schedule crude oil pickups daily across the field, maintain proper tank levelsWell troubleshooting and optimization. Continuously monitors Production facilities and wells to help Lease Operators pump by priority. Monitors alarms and participates in alarm management/rationalizationAdheres to the "Pump by Priority" Program; Control Room Operator may be pumping a route from the Control Room. When abnormalities are detected, troubleshoot or repair the issue to minimize safety risks and economic losses by delegating to/informing other Production Department personnelUtilizes remote control to operate auto-chokes and automated equipmentAbility to operate various switches, control devices, and valves, and knowledge of the effects each has on total operationsDispatch the Lease Operator to the well when problems occur. Direct oil trucks when the need arises. Dispatch, track and coordinate Third Party Trucking Companies to ensure delivery or transfer of various fluids i.e. drilling brines, oil based muds, or fresh water, produced water and crude oil.Intake and input maintenance work-orders through K-2Follow up with each group/individual after dispatching until issues have been resolvedProvide daily updates to stakeholders via Teams and generated reportsCoordinating disposal of fluids to specific sites in respect to contents of each truck (i.e. Produced water- Recycle facility, Solids/Oil waste - Disposal facility, Completions/Flowback waste - Recycle Facility/SWD)Organize and coordinate services for various field teams including; construction, drilling, completions, frac fleet services, flowback, productionInitiate general work orders and distribute field service orders for a variety of internal field teams via email, online applications, and phone systemsDevelop various reports for distribution and communication between field teams utilizing products such as; Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, or Power BI. This can include various software platforms including GIS or SAP platformsUtilizing in field camera system that enables logistics desk to remotely open/close gate access across various locations in field. Monitoring cameras in the field at specific Central Tank Batteries, Corporate offices, and Field offices for security and HSE purposes.
