Eurofins MET Laboratories is searching for a Test Technician in Baltimore, MD. Eurofins MET Laboratories, Inc. is one of the Nation's leading laboratories for the testing and certification of electronic and electrical products. We are a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) and have been serving clients for over 50 years. Our Union City, CA location is currently seeking an entry level Electrical Engineer, a dedicated team player, who we can train to perform TELECOM testing. Responsibilities What you'll be challenged to do: TranSystems is excited to announce we are actively searching for a Field Technician to join our award-winning team in the Traffic department.  Primary Responsibilities: The following duties are typical of the position, but are not all-encompassing.  Each person is expected to help out in whatever duties are required to deliver a quality product on schedule. Perform manual turning movement counts, observe traffic patterns and record comments. Sketch intersection and obtain pertinent information. Set traffic counting devices in the roadway under varying traffic conditions. Set traffic counting cameras adjacent to the roadway. Upload data from counting devices to computer. Qualifications What you bring to our firm: Good observation and communication skills. Verbal and visual/graphic skills. Basic aptitude to read maps and plans. Ability to prepare clear and easily understood field notes, and able to work well with others and in a team. Must have MD Driver’s license and own transportation. Actively engages multiple perspectives when solving problems, seeks to learn from peers, and encourages reciprocal learning among team members. Work Conditions: Outside regardless of weather; travel required; overtime up to 12 hrs/day occasionally for traffic counts.  Nighttime and weekend work sometimes required. We are seeking a Battery Engineer who will collaborate with the engineering team to design, develop, and qualify batteries according to customer specifications and documentation requirements in line with project timing and budgets. The process includes research and development into parts, materials, and assembly techniques. What You'll Do:The Field Inspector is part of a team working on the natural gas utilities infrastructure critical for hundreds of thousands of customers.Make SAFETY the #1 priority by adhering to and enforcing all company safety standards.Responsible for the ongoing compliance of all utility company procedures, standards, and providing the best possible field assurance services to the client's operations.Maintain well documented Daily Inspection Reports (DIRs) for all inspection worksite and contractor activities to include special notes of any incidents that arise.Document interactions, site information and utilities in organizational software.Communicate with clients and internal leadership.Provide daily and weekly production data reports.Maintain a professional relationship with client and their contractors, other team members, and consistently deliver excellent client work.Execute job duties safely and in accordance with company policies, standards, and guidelines.Additional duties as assigned.Required Qualifications: Gas utilities: 5 years (Required) Driver's License (Required) Work authorization (Required)Mandatory PPE - Personal Protective Equipment will be company issueRequired to have general knowledge, and the successful completion of training, certification, and evaluations for Operator Qualification (OQ) of both steel and plastic mains and services.Experience with installation or inspection of natural gas distribution.Ability to read and understand construction/technical drawings and specifications.Ability to use email, mobile devices, MS Office, and PDF software during your daily activities, including completing technical documentation.Ability to read maps and blueprints.Knowledgeable in excavations and hazards associated.Ability to work independently in an outdoor environment.Must be able to pass DOT (compliant and random) drug screen.
