Select optimum instrument and collimation to be used, determine and adjust settings on camera and computer control panels, position patient and/or camera to yield desired view and obtain images in accordance with established procedure protocols.16. Assist patient onto and off imaging table, chair or stool using proper body mechanics and taking into consideration age specific needs.17. Regularly perform all imaging or non-imaging procedures according to established protocols, if unsure check protocol manual and/or verify with Supervisor.18. DescriptionSummary:Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for coordinating and performing diagnostic medical imaging procedures utilizing radiopharmaceutical and medical imaging equipment. Professional and departmental protocols are followed to provide the physician diagnostic images to identify and/or plan appropriate treatment for the patient’s condition.
