DESCRIPTIONAmazon.com is seeking a Corporate Counsel to join a collegial and fast-moving team in a new position. As Corporate Counsel, you will work on corporate governance, SEC reporting, proxy statements and annual meetings, shareholder proposals, and other securities and corporate issues. You will work actively with internal clients in Accounting, Finance, and Tax, as well as senior executive team members. You will work directly with, and exercise judgment in advising, executives on complex matters. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SEC reporting, corporate governance (including Board and Committee support and Delaware corporate law), proxy statements and annual meetings, and Section 16 reporting.
