What are you responsible for? - Leading our R&D & Internal IT (non- client facing) teams with purpose; o Leading a global team (150+), travelling as required to promote engagement and improve business outcomes o Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous learning o Build and lead high performing and motivated technology team- Technology Strategy, Roadmap & Architecture; o Supporting our more legacy based products, whilst planning and delivering the future transition to SaaS platforms o Evaluating and implement new systems and infrastructure that enhance our competitive position o Ensuring technologies are used efficiently, profitably and securely- Product Development; o Lead the R&D team in designing, developing, testing, deploying and supporting high-quality SaaS products o Maximise operations of live internally and externally facing applications and infrastructure- Cyber Security & Risk Management; o Implement and maintain rigorous quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of reliable software. o Develop and enforce security best practices to safeguard customer data and maintain compliance with relevant regulations o Identify and mitigate technical risks that may impact product development or operational efficiency- Strategic Partnerships & IT Supplier Management; o Building strategic partnerships with technology vendors can provide access to cutting-edge solutions o Assist with negotiating contracts and terms with vendors, ensuring that the technologies acquired align with the organization's strategic goals.- Delivering complex R&D and corporate IT projects within time, budget, scope, whilst simultaneously coping and adapting to change- Adherence to our Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure all work is handled securely, professionally and diligently. Skills you'll need: - Established CTO experience managing a complex product environment (ideally SaaS environment)- Strong knowledge and technical proficiency in a development, cloud and information security capacity- Outstanding leadership and communication skills, with the innate ability to explain complex technical scenarios to board level audience- Proven ability to balance commercial understanding and technical input- Strategic, dynamic and confident decision maker.
