Sap Accounting Salary in Norwalk, CT

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual who will oversee the plant's financial records, month & year-end close, cost accounting, forecasting, financial reporting, and strategic planning. You will be responsible for maintaining all procedures and controls related to the company's financial accounts. This position will be a hybrid role. 1-2 days remote depending on the needs of the business.ResponsibilitiesFull financial support for plant managementPosition will evolve to multi-plant responsibilityHelp to identify and drive cost reduction and working capital opportunitiesInvolvement in plant/project procurementMaintain compliance with government agenciesAct as the point of contact for external auditorsMaintain internal books and financesAnalyze financial transactionsAdditional assignments as neededModerate travel required (0 - 10) days per yearQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management 7 or more years of related experience with 2 years of Cost Accounting experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.SAP experience preferredIntermediate to advanced spreadsheet skillsGAAP knowledge, CPA or CMA or MAcc preferredStrong written, verbal and collaboration skills
