This requires us to deliver on our promises and always look for new opportunities to grow ourselves and our business. **Job Purpose** Deliver contract management services for electric capital projects and coordinate overall departmental strategy and performance efforts, including the development and management of strategic initiatives, training plans, department goals, performance metrics, embedding a generative safety culture and process adherence analysis. **Key Accountabilities** + **Support Accountabilities:** + Responsible to develop and deliver the strategic vision, goals and framework required for Project Management and Construction. + Lead or consult on all key initiatives required to deliver on all departmental performance requirements (such as Capital Efficiency, Generative Safety, Training and Development, Delivery of Clean Energy, Digital, etc.) + Develop and drive data analytics and performance reporting to ensure that regulatory requirements and internal business needs are met. + Ensure meaningful performance metrics system in place to assure results. + Assure compliance and risk management processes and practices are fulfilled including continuous improvement. + Support VP and peer Directors in all areas of business operation to review and improve process to deliver results. + **Contract Management Accountabilities:** + Work closely with internal and external management teams to develop operating budgets and resource allocations to ensure timely and cost-effective achievement of all assigned work. + Lead the complex contract management team to ensure the development and management of value-added contractual relationships in support of Engineering MSAs and Electric operations. + Manage all aspects of non-complex electric construction contracts post-award, including negotiating changes in scope, claims, annual pricing adjustments, and monitoring contractor performance measures to ensure high levels and standards of contractor performance. + Support of all storm preparation and restoration activities as requested by electrical operations and emergency planning. + Work in support of procurement, project management and construction on contract strategy, risk allocation and cost containment for future projects through active participation in bid events of significance, project meetings and feedback of lessons learned. + Utilize experience and data to drive team to identify and capture efficiencies contributing to National Grids overall goals. **Qualifications** + A Bachelor’s degree preferably in an engineering/analytical discipline. + 5+ years of management experience, including significant interactions at the director level or equivalent. + Influential, energetic, and enthusiastic business professional with the drive, ambition, and resilience to make things happen and deliver outstanding performance. + A strong, successful record in providing strategic leadership, implementing significant change, and delivering against key business objectives. + Ability to drive results across diverse teams with potentially conflicting goals and objectives. + Exhibited skills in data mining, assessment, and analysis, including experience with critical NG systems. + Excellent oral and written communication skills and experience with dealing with senior executives and leaders throughout the organization. + A valid drivers license with a safe driving history is required. **More Information** **Salary:** $175,000 - $206,000 **National Grid is an equal opportunity employer that values a broad diversity of talent, knowledge, experience and expertise.  We foster a culture of inclusion that drives employee engagement to deliver superior performance to the communities we serve.  National Grid is proud to be an affirmative action employer.
