Job DescriptionThe Industrial Facilities Maintenance position will serve our Water Heating Division, located in Montgomery, AL.ResponsibilitiesWork from written or verbal orders, including sketches or diagrams. Install, replace, or change parts and attachments, according to specifications. Apply tools, equipment, and skills used in industrial facility repair, plumbing, and electrical applications. Perform routine preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment as required by the PM. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with Company procedures, rules and regulations. Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promote the continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices required by Company, federal and state guidelines. Receives and performs time sensitive work order assignments. Performs monthly maintenance and audits of emergency lights, exit signs, ice machines, water fountains, etc. Replaces lighting in offices and break areas. Ability to perform office painting/drywall patching as well as, dropped ceiling maintenance. Performs basic plumbing and restrooms maintenance and repair: clogs, dispenser replacements, etc. Performs mild steel and stainless steel fabrication work including stick and mig welding. Collect, analyze, interpret, summarize, and document data and information gathered during testing. Operate, maintain, and repair test equipment, instrumentation, and systems in accordance with engineering specifications or defined test practices. Use of hand tool including welding and brazing tools.
