RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Mutual Funds Accountant in Milwaukee, WI.Duties Include: Mutual Funds Accountant works as part of a team responsible to maintain the general ledger and records of mutual funds of varying complexity and producing end of day net asset value calculation Prepares daily general ledger accounting, prime broker/bank cash reconciliations, advisor/portfolio management processing, corporate action application, expense accrual/payment postings, daily net asset value and mill rate determinations, portfolio pricing analysis/validations, timely internal/external information distributions, portfolio reconciliations, etc. As a Mutual Funds Accountant, you will partner with various internal/external administrators, transfer agencies and prime brokers/custodian relationships collaborating on compliance, audit and financials, while ensuring all Fund Accounting functions are in compliance with SEC regulations and GAAP principlesREQUIREMENTS: Attention to detail while juggling multiple tasks Ability to look to consistently go above and beyond Ability to take ownership of responsibilities and sees them through to completion The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We are looking for a Sr. Accountant to join a great accounting team for a nonprofit organization in Milwaukee, WI.Job Responsibilities: Responsible for the grant management function which involves: Financial transactions, budgeting, reporting and monitoring. Monitor actual financial results compared to budget and communicate to appropriate levels to ensure funds are not overspent. Analysis and forecasting of current financial position to the unspent funds or budgeted transaction level to ensure proper budget compliance with the funding source.Review of financial transactions that include invoice, travel reports and personnel time sheet activity coding.
