Responsible for the project being successful in key project metrics of Safety, margin control, financials, cash flow, schedule, performance, communication, ISO and customer satisfaction. Specifically, the job entails leadership in the development of vessel and equipment drawings, P&IDs, general arrangement drawings and other information pertinent to the project at the direction of the project manager. Project Manager develops and implements project budgets and labor utilization in order to meet budgets, schedules and contractual commitments. Develops monthly reports, schedules and schedule updates and is the primary focal point for customer, key vendors and internal resources. Handles commercial matters during project execution. Primarily assigned to smaller, equipment only or familiar equipment, or smaller parts of larger projects. Experience in chemical or water processing is needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:As a Project Manager at Veolia HPD, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful execution of our projects. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Execute the project as per contractual agreements made between the Company and client.Direct and coordinate project team activities. Provide primary source of contact for client, and internal resources for all questions/concerns during project executionReport project progress including schedule creation and updates and monthly reportsPrepare and updating of project forecasts and progression schedules.Monitor project costs and progression to adhere to the schedule and labor forecasts.Review and approve expenditures and invoices.Negotiate with suppliers and customers through Procurement and Sales groups.Represent the Company in front of suppliers and customers.Review process design heat material balance for accuracy at the beginning of each new project.Perform detailed design checks of process equipment such as vessels and tanks.Represent the engineering department in sales effort and marketing opportunities.Design major equipment based on information gathered from other departments.Create, review and approve design documents, drawings and specifications.Evaluate supplier proposals for conformity to technical requirements, schedule compliance and budget allowance.Define and Calculate engineering parameters as indicators to monitor progress.Select supplier with best offering that meets project specifications, schedule and budget for procurement.Prepare project lists for equipment, valves, instruments, utilities requirements and loads.Investigate and resolve comments or problems with suppliers, jobsite or the customer.Support service with technical assistance during commissioning phase including frequent and longer visits to site as necessary.Maintain proper documentation for project files.Assist QA with supplier and jobsite inspectionsSupervise project engineers assigned to the project.
