Superintendents have a well versed knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) and a strong passion for safety, training, leadership development, and commitment to excellence. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent work experience (8,000 hours) Travel: 60-75% Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 6 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday. May vary based on customer demands and can include, but is not limited to: nights, weekends, and holidays. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES All previous classification requirements must be continually satisfied Maintains current licensing and training requirements.History of managing large projects (15+ electricians or multiple small-medium projects simultaneously) effectively while routinely meeting and/or beating estimated job costs. Consistently meeting or exceeding Faith's productivity goals. Familiar with Faith's estimating software. Demonstrates successful and consistent usage of Faith internal resources to include, but not limited to Excellerate, Precon, APC, Productivity, Engineering, Estimating, etc. Conducts jobsite safety evaluations. Develops and integrates project schedule effectively with other trades. Effectively communicates areas of concern/opportunity to PM in order to maintain or improve margin. Effectively conducts and navigates through difficult conversations resulting in a positive outcome. Has successfully developed a successor to move to the Foreman position. Reads and understands estimates, with the assistance of project management or superintendent , as a part of the installation and layout of a project. Consistently provides feedback and coaching to crew members including utilizing the Field Evaluation form/process. Takes the initiative to run a thorough ORM. Is conscious of safe and unsafe acts on the jobsite and addresses and eliminates hazards accordingly. Consistently enforces and promotes workplace safety procedures (weekly toolbox talks, weekly safety audits, appropriate documentation, etc.) Actively mentors and develops others within projects and crews. Supports usage of Faith internal resources to include, but not limited to Excellerate, Precon, APC, Productivity, Engineering, Estimating, etc. Maintains compliance with company policies; consults with HR and/or Workforce Managers (PM if appropriate) to ensure consistent corrective measures are taken, and documentation completed. Travels to customer premises to install, troubleshoot, and maintain specialty systems (to include, but not limited to, copper/fiber structured cabling, outside plant, CATV, CCTV, WLAN, fire alarm, access control, security, audio, etc.). Demonstrates effective and consistent Faith Performance Advantage usage. Consistently enforces and promotes workplace safety procedures. Keeps technical aptitude current. Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
