Position SummaryThe Medical Radiology Tutor (SPACE Center) provides tutoring and study support services for the for all courses in the AAS and Certificate Medical Radiologic Technology Program, throughout the 5 semesters of the MRT Program and Based on Grant Funding. Tutoring may be conducted in person, virtually via Zoom and through Blackboard. Additional tutoring may be provided at LSCC designated x-ray laboratories. Medical Radiology Tutors do not deliver instruction; they provide tutorial support for specific content areas and students in accordance with the mission, core values, and purposes of the college. The Medical Radiology Tutor provides tutorial support for program participants and tracks their progress each semester through graduation, providing services that support retention and graduation.Salary Schedule: Local Salary Schedule ($19.76 per hour up to 19 hours per week); this position is subject to grant funding.This is a grant-funded position. Continued employment is contingent upon funding from the grant.
