Operates multi-line phone system, police radio and computer aided dispatch system in concert Maintains records of incoming calls for assistance and all police/patrol activities. Communicates with other police/fire/ambulance agencies, and operates various computer terminals including the CAD, "Computer Aided Dispatch" system. Performs related duties as required. The Surveyor I or above is an entry or junior-level position for new graduates and/or those candidates with less than five (5) years of experience in an applicable industry. The Surveyor I, under a direct supervisor, performs work involving conventional surveying practices.
