This position will directly supervise three (3) full time site managers and work closely with the Protection, Water, and the Forest programs within the Apache Highland Business Planning Area. Essential functions include: Program Management - APPROX. 30% Optimizes TNC conservation investments to leverage large scale conservation projects protecting priority lands, water resources, fire regimes, and wildlife connectivity corridors. This role will collaborate with sales, business development and the customer to provide a solution to the customers’ design problems.ResponsibilitiesHydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical component and system design, including new product development and support of sustaining production of existing designs.Accountability for development and test of new design configurations, independently leading component detail design including layout and modeling by designers and drafters, tolerance stack-ups and drawing approvals, and detailed analysis such as stress/FEA/fatigue.Interface with internal and external customers & suppliers to clarify design intent and technical requirements, planning and defining program workload, leading design teams.Write test plans and test reports in support of new development and product improvement programs.Support and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to facilitate inspection and manufacturing.Drive engineering design and development process improvements.
