RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Houston, TX that is seeking an IT Project Manager-Workday.Key Responsibilities: IT Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the Workday implementation project from initiation to closure Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocations Monitor project progress, identify and address risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including business leaders, HR, IT teams, and external vendors, to define project requirements and expectations Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies effectively to stakeholders at all levels Provide strong leadership and guidance to the project team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment As an IT Project Manager, you will delegate tasks appropriately, manage workload distribution, and ensure team members have the support and resources needed to succeed Manage relationships with external vendors and consultants involved in the Workday implementation, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and contractual obligations Establish and enforce quality assurance processes and standards to ensure the Workday solution meets business requirements and industry best practices Develop and implement change management strategies to support organizational adoption of the new Workday system, including training, communication, and user supportREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus Minimum 7 years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on Workday implementations Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex IT projects from initiation to completion Strong understanding of Workday functionality, configuration, and integration capabilities Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
