How will you make an impact?This role reports to the Operations Director for the Santa Clara, CA site. The key success in the role includes strong change management effectiveness, operational/process excellence and strategic implementation of Practical Process Improvement (PPI) and Lean practices. What will you do?Implementation of PPI and lean manufacturing practices (5S, Visual Controls, A3, SMED, Flow, GEMBA's, Standard Work, etc.)Manage and facilitate continuous improvement projects and Kaizen events to improve productivity and accelerate growth.Provide leadership in the areas of PPI and Lean by mentoring site teams to deliver results.Provide guidance for chartering of projects and kaizen events.Capture & record training and help coordinate the measurement, idea generation, tracking and reporting of PPI savings impactIdentify, prioritize, and lead PPI initiatives that are aligned with Value Stream business objectives.Assist in developing site improvement goals and objectives and coordinate and champion activities to meet or exceed those goalsAssists in managing the Productivity Funnel process for the value streams to ensure that projects have clear ownership within the business to drive execution.Partner with management to drive ownership of CI activities within the site.Ability to train site resources in the areas of PPI and lean principles implementation.How will you get there?EducationMinimum required Education: Bachelors degree in engineering, business or related field.Certification as a Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, and/or Lean certification preferred. The Pricing / Costing Analyst will conduct contract negotiations and analysis, as well as developing 'should cost' models that accurately reflect effective costs.What you will be doingCollaborate with Finance, Procurement and Operations: Forge strong partnerships with the Fiance, Procurement and Operations teams to analyze contracts and negotiate terms that are favorable and cost-effective. Ensure that we have transparency into TCO, estimated Margin and effective costs.Market and Competitor Analysis: Perform market research and competitor pricing analysis within the cloud infrastructure sector to guide strategic pricing and costing decisions.Development of 'Should Cost' Models: Build sophisticated 'should cost' models that incorporate effective costs, including materials, labor, overhead, and other relevant factors, to inform pricing strategies and contract negotiations.Pricing and Costing Strategy Formulation: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop and implement pricing and costing strategies that reflect market conditions, cost structures, and competitive insights.Reporting and Communication: Generate comprehensive reports and presentations detailing pricing and costing analysis, strategies, and recommendations. Clearly communicate complex data and insights to senior management and key partners.What we need to see:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Master's degree or MBA is preferred.6+ years of relevant experience in pricing and costing analysis, with a focus on cloud infrastructure. Proven track record of effective collaboration with Finance, Procurement, and Operations teams.Cloud Infrastructure Competence: Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure costs, market trends, and the financial implications of technology investments.Analytical and Strategic Skills: Exceptional analytical abilities and critical thinking, capable of interpreting complex data and translating it into actionable pricing and costing strategies.Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and business intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
