The Data Center Interconnection Specialist reports to the Manager Data Center Interconnection and is a member of CoreSite's network engineering team. This position provides technical expertise in the design, engineering, and implementation of CoreSite inside and outside cable plant. The candidate will have an expert level of knowledge regarding cable design and layout. They will provide engineering designs to construction team on interconnection design standards. The candidate will work with local field operations teams to support capacity augments as well as new builds. This role is responsible for assisting in leading the management and integration of the Data Center Inventory Management software system. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating between DCIM vendor, IT systems group, and Field Operations personnel to integrate DCIM system into the order workflow process. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for maintaining the data integrity of the system and continue to work with the Field Operations SME's to support the MACD process. Under minimal supervision, the Data Center Interconnection Specialist will perform advanced level functions in support of a multi-site service provider environment. The candidate will provide technical assistance and perform problem resolution on application issues and advanced interconnection issues. Manage medium to large scale complex projects affecting the entire plant.
