Position:  The Part Time Accounting Assistant helps with computing costs and calculating rates for services and shipment of goods, prepare invoices for billing, posting data and keeping relevant data.  Expected work hours are 20-25 hours per week. Priorities: Review documents in order to compute fees and charges due Verify accuracy of billing data and revise any errors Prepare itemized invoices and amounts due for services rendered Keep records of invoices and support documents Prepare reports as needed Answer inquiries regarding billing Qualifications/Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products Exposure to billing and/or accounting principles  Exceptional time management and attention to detail Be adaptable, flexible and versatile Benefits: Collaborative and team-oriented environment Paid vacation/sick/holidays Comprehensive benefits package including 401k with match Workplace Flexibility And much, much more! Starting pay rate will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, qualifications, and the terms of any applicable agreement. Dependent on the length of service, hours worked, and applicable agreements, benefits include sick pay of 2.66 hours for every 80 hours worked and retirement benefits.
