Akkodis is seeking an expert level Oracle PL/SQL Backend Developer to support our client in Philadelphia, PA. In this role you will work on existing mission critical applications to create and maintain back-end software in Oracle PL/SQL. Local candidates are required as there is an onsite component to the work.Rate: $65.00 to $80.00 per hour depending on experience, education, and other factors.Responsibilities for the Oracle PL/SQL Backend Developer:Taking direction from senior developers and collaborating with internal teams to produce software.Participating in requirements analysis.Interpreting business requirement documents; writing clean, scalable, and functional code; unit testing code; preparing applications for deployment to production; and creating documentation as required.Fixing defects in legacy code. Working with source control on multiple simultaneous branches. Providing production support as needed, this includes being available to provide third tier support to the help desk on assigned weekends and holidays if needed.Improving existing software.
