2025 Engineering Development Program, Asset Management-Associate Engineer (Hybrid, CT/NH)

The 2025 Eversource Engineering Professional Development Program is designed to provide our Asset Management Cohorts with an opportunity for career development, training, and varied work experience\. The program is 2 years in duration\. In Asset Management this will include three, eight month assignments\.The areas will include Asset Management, Project Solutions, and Estimating departments\.The program will start in June 2025\. **Asset Management:** The Asset Management team coordinates the inception and tracks the design development of large, complex electrical infrastructure upgrade projects, working with a diverse team across multiple disciplines, including; engineering, project management, siting and environmentalspecialists\.You will develop project proposals for said upgrades that includes the prospective scope, cost, and schedule of a project as well as building a needs case as to why the upgrades are worthwhile for the cost of the project relative to their public benefit\. You will perform data analysis toward the goal of better understanding of our areas of need in terms of asset health and system reliability risk and better planning of our future electrical infrastructure investments\. **Project Solutions:** The Project Solutions team is responsible for identifying, developing and implementing process improvements related to the Project Lifecycle, by aligning the strategy and vision of the leadership team, as well as driving business and system requirements, and managing the overall coordination across multiple teams \(Major Projects, Engineering, Operations, and Finance\)\. You will review and edit technical project proposals\. You will also identify and implement process improvement initiatives for the project life cycle, QA/QC review of project technical scope, cost and schedule information and develop means to ensure systems/processes are working as designed\. You will act as a liaison between engineering, finance, project management, siting, transmission and distribution operations to maximize efficiency of the project life cycle process\. **Estimating:** The Estimating team is responsible for contributing to development of estimates across the Eversource three\-state area\. Responsible for ensuring that detailed scope for projects is identified and documented to support accurate and timely cost estimates\. In addition, this group supports the evaluation of cost estimates vs\. actual project costs\. You may collaborate with estimate stakeholders which include System Planning, Engineering, Standards, Major Projects, Procurement, Siting, Environmental, etc **Education:** BS in Engineering\-Electrical, Mechanical or Civil **Experience:** 0\-2 years **Qualifications:** + A valid motor vehicle operator’s license\.+ Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required\.+ Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary\.
