The Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer will be the primary lead on a project and responsible for following the established process, completing deliverables on time, and communicating status and roadblocks to the project manager. The Senior Engineer will mentor newer engineers in their projects and may delegate tasks as appropriate. They will identify and solve manufacturing challenges that arise during projects. They will be required to work cross-functionally and must be comfortable communicating with all levels of the organization. The Senior Engineer will also be a technical expert in a manufacturing technology (ex: leak testing, laser engraving, etc) ensuring standardization, documentation, and improvement of processes across the organization. Essential Duties:Work independently on tasks and processes, suggesting and driving improvements to processes, and mentoring others on existing tasks and processes.Act as manufacturing lead on New Product Development teams, focusing on larger or more complex projects; working with and communicating to cross- functional project teams.Research and integrate safe, reliable, and cost-effective equipment and processes that assure products are produced at established safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives. Review and improve existing manufacturing business processes; create simple new ones as required; identify opportunities for productivity improvements or automation.
