Pharmacy Manager - Central Fill/Mail Operations (Offsite)

The University of Iowa Health Care, Department of Pharmaceutical Care is seeing a full-time Pharmacy Manager to join the team. The Ambulatory Pharmacy Manager will serve as the Pharmacist in Charge of the central fill and mail facility, a new site in the UI Ambulatory Pharmacy network located in northeast Iowa City. They will provide leadership and development to pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and support staff within Ambulatory Care Pharmacy. Responsibilities include oversight of central fill and mail operations (specialty and non-specialty), USP compounding compliance, accreditation and participation on other department and hospital committees as needed. This position will collaborate with leadership and staff to promote safe, optimal and cost-effective medication use processes.
