About the role As the Distribution Lead, you are responsible for overseeing the daily operations of all Delivery Specialists. Ensuring the team follows standard company procedures, state compliance laws, and safety requirements while delivering orders to dispensaries in a timely and efficient manner. It is the Distro Lead's responsibility to ensure KPIs are created and measured to achieve success by all in the department. This role can be a physical, fast-paced position involving continual lifting, lowering, and carrying packages that may weigh a minimum of 50 lbs. Responsibilities Oversee the Distribution Specialists and maintain the accuracy of outbound orders, staying compliant with state regulations. Oversee loading vans with the outbound products and unloading products for the customer. Perform routine inspection of company vehicles and supplies to ensure road safety; Oversee inventory of daily merchandise loaded on the van Ensure that manifests are complete and accurate; Review all driver schedules and routes that are generated by the Dispatch Specialist. The main point of contact for all intake managers, handling routine problems and serving as an interface between company and customer, checking daily reports to confirm resolutions of all problems. Ensure that product distribution is accomplished to customer satisfaction in agreement with any contract terms and requirements; Working closely with the dispatch specialists and salesperson to improve route efficiency and expand existing customer relationships; Oversee the operation of vehicles in accordance with OSHA and DOT requirements as well as local, state, and other federal requirements; Creating and Oversee timelines of maintenance for motor vehicles Attends all company training sessions and meetings Oversee displays on the sales floor. Remove any outdated materials (if granted permission by the dispensary) Oversee delivery specialists in the assembling and disassembling of promotional materials such as signs, banners, and cardboard displays Oversee delivery specialists reporting of out of stocks inventory, account issues, or positive feedback given by the dispensary Oversee KPIs as well as create new KPIs as the market changes. Oversee completion of all end-of-day reports.
