About the role Operations Managers oversee operational activities at every level of an organization. The Ops Manager is responsible for managing all teams that fall under operations; production, accounting, distribution, and inventory. A problem-solving mentality is essential in organizing and monitoring workflow to ensure maximum performance and quality within all ops teams. The specific duties of an Operations Manager include formulating strategy, improving performance, procuring material/resources, and securing compliance. Responsibilities Oversee production by creating and reviewing production team schedules; clarify expectations; calculate requirements; monitor and maintain inventories of materials and supplies Set ambitious production goals and communicate them to key personnel Work with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements to achieve company objectives Organize and coordinate workflow for the Production Team to produce finished goods while maintaining safety, quality, and standards that meet specifications and deadlines. Monitor production to predict and identify effects on supply chain activities. Use information systems to control stock levels, inventory accuracy, and orders. Define and track KPIs for direct reports Evaluate and conduct performance reviews; provide coaching and guidance to production team members QA/QC duties that include data review of analytical testing for quality and consistency. Inspect physical conditions of equipment, order testing, maintenance, repairs, or replacements; clean and maintain equipment and facility following standard operating procedures to comply with legal regulations. Create SOPs, training records, and related documentation as needed Cash and check handling/depositing Oversee distribution by creating a schedule that ensures we are providing customers with their orders in a timely manner while also ensuring that the routes make sense logistically for the company Oversee the inventory team in ensuring that materials/products are received accurately and in a timely manner Aid inventory in end-of-month reporting to ensure the accuracy of reports and use data to maintain inventory levels necessary for the production Work alongside Sales to ensure that everything necessary for them to meet goals and increase sales is available at all time Work with other market managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements Estimate and manage COGS Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines Monitor production to resolve issues in the moment. Create simple solutions and update SOP's to reflect current operations Supervise and evaluate the performance of all production personnel Determine the amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials, etc.) Plan and prepare order lists for all raw consumables to be approved by National Production Manager Submit requests for maintenance work, purchasing of equipment, etc. Submit all new orders for lab testings (Confident Cannabis, LIMS, etc) Ensure output meets quality standards Enforce health and safety precautions daily to ensure Timeless is always operating in accordance to AZDHS laws and regulations Provide a daily production tracker update to upper leadership with full explanations on goals Understand and track KPIs for all departments managing Communicate with HR on workforce management needs of the production department Hold weekly meetings with facility leadership to create daily, weekly, monthly production goals Be able to give and receive feedback openly You show a high level of professional maturity and emotional intelligence Siphon through qualified candidates, hold interviews via phone, zoom, and in person. Hire and Train qualified candidates Always ensure all employees physically have their FA cards on them as it is a part of their uniform You have the ability to socialize and lead organizational change; Demonstrate an ability to drive individual and team accountability Maintain a positive company culture Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste and increase efficiency Use and continually develop leadership skills Seek out new and innovative ways to increase business Allocate labor resources where needed according to set/accomplish production goals Oversee all time adjustments, time off requests, time edits, etc to ensure accurate time keeping and labor allocations Ensures that all functions are performed to the highest standard of quality and compliance and successfully conforms to all state regulations, organizational standards, policies and procedures, safety and security protocols Maintains the highest levels of cleanliness and sanitation inside the Production facility. Participates in the clean-up of equipment and the workplace at the end of every day during the walk final walk through Keep a Fun, Edgy and Caring Culture Presents KPI targets and results during weekly management meetings with the Production Manager, Production Supervisor, and Captains; collaborates cross functionally to find unique areas of continuous improvement Candidate Qualifications Skills Excellent leadership skills, including the ability to set goals and motivate positively Strong decision-making and a results/ data-driven approach Exceptional problem-solving skills Demonstration of exceptional communication skills, including writing, speaking, and active listening Strong attention to detail Proficient in MS Office, Spreadsheets, and ERP software Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations Ability to perform calculations. This position will be responsible for maintaining and care of their monitoring equipment and overall maintenance of the LDAR inventory.
