Job Details:Position Title: Maintenance TechnicianGeneral Job Description:To provide basic mechanical and electrical maintenance practices to perform duties such as teardowns, rebuilds, troubleshooting and design of new equipment.Tasks:Provide basic mechanical and electrical maintenance duties requiring the utilization of current maintenance practices.Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical maintenance on all production equipment including ovens, Formax's freezers, Grinders and all other manufacturing systems plant wide.Work on project type work that may include welding and fabrication.Be able to read manuals and blue prints.Work daily with the manufacturing personnel to help with startup and training of operators.Be able to trouble shoot from electrical prints.Review the machine guarding on a daily basis and make sure the equipment is being used properly.Must be willing and able to lift up to 100lbs.Must be willing and able to work in an environment with extreme temperatures ranging from 39F to 90F.Maintain a clean work area and help clean the maintenance shop on a rotation basis.Help train the new level one mechanics as needed.In the event of absence the next level down the organizational chart covers for the next level up.Employee has an individual responsibility to report all possible deficiencies or practices that could compromise food safety.Employee is to adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) at all times.Requirements:Must have 2 years production maintenance experience.Required electrical troubleshooting experience including reading schematics and electrical prints.Required PLC troubleshooting experience including the ability to read Ladder Logic.Be able to furnish their own tools.Relocation Assistance Eligible:NoWork Shift: 1ST SHIFT (United States of America)Hourly Applicants ONLY -You must complete the task after submitting your application to provide additional information to be considered for employment.Tyson is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer. Maintain the efficient and effective functions of the building, emergency repairs, schedule maintenance with vendors as well as budget, procurement and asset tracing documentation. Responsible for repairs of video/audio routing, encoded streams, server systems and other technologies as needed. Research services and technologies to leverage content distribution.What You'll Do:Must be able to use a variety of equipment including but not limited to: networking equipment, server systems, transcoding servers, video servers, web servers, scopes, switcher operation, iOS devices, digital video cameras, DSLR, NRCS, computer graphics systems, Apple Final Cut Pro X editing, Mac computer systems, broadcast automation and video servers, embedded audio.Partner with news and content gathering, distribution and supporting technology workflow equipment, including streaming and content management systems.Assist in the design, planning, construction and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings and other facilities items.Responsible for a wide range of technical repairs on the facility and associated systems including heating, air conditioning, plumbing, electrical, and irrigation systems.Help to ensure that all facility equipment is maintained properly through daily, weekly, and monthly documented preventive maintenance in order that optimum performance can be expected and achieved.
