Needed Immediately!Leading Tax Company seeking mature professional for Area Tax Manager in the metro Phoenix area!Benefits:-1 to 2 days off per week during off season-2 weeks paid vacation outside tax season-Bonus payable at tax season end-Weekly travel stipend-Paid tax trainingMinimum Requirements:• 1 year tax or accounting experience preferred• 5+ years management experience• 3 professional references• Associates degree or higher preferred but not requiredDuties Include:-Prepare tax returns for individual, business, and self-employed clientele-Manage a staff of approximately 30 seasonal employees amongst multiple locations in the metro Phoenix area-Manage daily operations, administrative duties, scheduling, and productivity; Track and approve all time and attendance; Maintain awareness of store activity trends and set work schedules to provide full coverage and minimize customer wait time-Interview, hire, and direct the on-boarding and training of new employees to ensure a seamless and efficient transition-Lead the successful set up of multiple storefronts prior to the beginning of tax season, to include computer hardware, desks, office supplies, signage, etc.-Coordinate all new employee training prior to tax season start-Identify areas for productivity improvement and implement solutions; Track solutions to completion, monitor results, and adjust as necessary-Actively promote the brand and be an active recruiter, always looking for new talent
