The MSL develops and maintains professional relationships with internal and external customers both physicians and extenders to provide comprehensive medical and scientific support to Galderma initiatives in assigned areas of interest. The MSL will focus on providing healthcare practitioners, clinical investigators and professional organizations the opportunity for scientific exchange and gathering insights in order to provide medical and scientific support for prioritized services and products within Galderma's portfolio.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive Regional, National, and International External Expert and Influencer identification, development, and support across four core specialties. Prepare external engagement plansInteract with External Academic and Clinical Experts as well as Social Media Influencers to understand customer needs, identify scientific gaps and trends, opportunities for clinical trials, business development, etc.Identify new clinical investigators especially those underrepresented currently and recommend placement into Galderma sponsored clinical trialsLiaise with investigators submitting research proposals consistent with our product development strategies and help facilitate the Investigator-Initiated Trial (IIT) processAct as an internal scientific expert for Galderma products and areas of interest "Bringing the Science to life" for Internal and External Audiences, including training external speakers on content for promotional events sales force training and at advisory boardsAttend congresses, engage with external stakeholders, stay current in relevant scientific literature, track Influencers on social media, prepare summaries, and present key perspectives to Galderma teams including competitor analysesSupport Galderma research by identifying investigators, undertaking scientific exchange and providing feedback and insight to medical and clinical teamsRespond to unsolicited requests for medical and scientific informationUtilize Modern technology platforms to maximize efficiency and effectiveness and limit travel requirements Ensure the integrity of the scientific data used in promotional claims and materials, if requestedOther duties as assigned by managementSkills and QualificationsMedical Doctor or advanced degree required (MD, PhD, PharmD)Minimum of 2-5 years related medical, regulatory affairs and/or research and development experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical devices industryExperience in Dermatology, Required Experience in Biologics, RequiredEstablished Relationships in DermatologyAbility to interface effectively with a variety of technical platformsSolid understanding of FDA, OIG, HIPAA, and other US regulatoryAbility to think strategically to guide publication-related activities in accordance with industry standards and good publication practicesAbility to function in a team-oriented (matrix) environmentDemonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and work effectively in a high-pressure, constantly changing environmentAbility to develop good relationships and credibility with medical professionalsTravel up to 70% may be requiredWhat we offer in returnYou will be working for an organization that embraces diversity & inclusion and believe we will deliver better outcomes by reflecting the perspectives of our diverse customer base.
