MedStar Health is seeking a general Hematology/Oncology physician to be part of a large physician practice at MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital, one of the bases of the MedStar Georgetown Cancer Institute. The dynamic candidate will be given an opportunity to practice in a major community affiliate of an NCI designated comprehensive cancer center based on clinical care in a network.The MedStar Georgetown Cancer Institute consists of ten hospitals operated by MedStar Health with the Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center as its research base. The practice based at MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital will focus on bread-and-butter hematology/oncology with treatment of a wide variety of cancers. The incoming physician will be a part of the multi-disciplinary team of breast surgeons, medical oncologists, hematologists/oncologists, radiation oncologists, and genetic counselors to provide outstanding care to patients in the community.
