Your role: • Execute end-to-end shadow payroll processes for expatriates and international assignees, ensuring accurate calculation of income tax, social security, and other related deductions. • Validate payroll data, such as salaries, bonuses, allowances, and benefits, to ensure compliance with local tax regulations and company policies. • Stay abreast of changes in global tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate and timely compliance with local tax authorities. • Collaborate with tax advisors and consultants to address any tax-related challenges and implement necessary adjustments. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee payroll records, including relevant tax documents and expatriate assignments details. • Work closely with HR and global mobility teams to obtain necessary information for payroll processing. • Act as a liaison between the payroll department, HR, finance, and external tax authorities to resolve payroll-related issues. • Communicate effectively with international assignees to address any queries or concerns related to shadow payroll. • Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency within the shadow payroll function. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and streamline payroll procedures. • Generate and analyze shadow payroll reports, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. • Prepare and submit required reports to tax authorities in compliance with local regulations.
