Quality Engineer Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Quality Engineering or other manufacturing or technical field, as well as a minimum of two years of related experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification desired. Knowledge of quality systems and technical skills in process quality engineering, certification in Quality Engineering and computer literacy in Microsoft Windows and Office Applications is essential. Must have 2 years’ experience working in a QMS certified to an ISO standard, ISO 9001 / AS 9100 / IATF 16949 / ISO 13485. Knowledge and application of problem-solving tools, and statistical controls of manufacturing processes required. Working knowledge and application of measuring tools/equipment (Eg. Caliper, micrometer) required.Able to read to understand and train print reading and GD&T required.Aerospace experience is a plus. Understanding of CMM / PCMM operations/or knowledge is a plus.Understanding of Micro Vu / Optical Comparator operations is a plus.
