Our client, a leader in high-end real estate, will offer a diverse range of housing options, from cozy twin homes to expansive, customizable estates.This key role offers the opportunity to lead a growing team and play a vital part in ensuring the successful procurement of materials and accurate cost estimation for their multi-million dollar residences.Key Responsibilities include:Manage a team of two Purchasing Agents/Estimators, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance oversight.Create comprehensive preliminary budgets for new construction projects, leveraging market knowledge to secure the best pricing for materials and services.Oversee the contract negotiation process, ensuring favorable terms for the company.Develop and implement cost-control measures to optimize project profitability.Generate accurate and timely reports to forecast project budgets and identify potential cost variances.Collaborate with internal teams, including architects, designers, and project managers, to ensure smooth project execution.Maintain strong vendor relationships, fostering open communication and competitive pricing.Qualifications / Requirements:3+ years of experience in a construction management role, leading and mentoring a team.Proven success in creating preliminary budgets and cost estimations for high-value projects.In-depth understanding of current market rates for building materials and services.Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of securing favorable contract terms.Experience with job costing, project reporting, and financial forecasting.Experience in residential construction, with a preference for high-end luxury homes.
