You will be a key team member connecting high level program schedules to tactical work order management on the production floor each day. The ideal candidate is familiar working in a fast paced, highly ambiguous environment, has hands-on manufacturing experience, and can communicate effectively with engineering, business and leadership. The PDM is directly responsible for the management and coordination of project quality plans, including performing Quality Assurance (QA) reviews of completed design deliverables. In addition, the PDM will assist the Project Manager (PM) in monitoring and reporting the financial and on-time performance of projects. The PDM is responsible for: Managing Quality Assurance (QA) reviews by independently monitoring the Quality Control (QC) process by examining the QC documents for compliance to the project quality plan. Effectively communicating any findings from the QA reviews to the design team, and validate the subsequent responses are effective and close each finding. Reporting directly to the DBPM the status of the QA process. Assist the PM in evaluating and reporting project schedule performance and financial metrics in reports and in formal presentations to company management.
