Evaluate equipment, identify hazards and deficiencies, and deliver focused risk improvement solutions to reduce the client's risk.Apply operating standards, data sheets and guides to provide risk guidance and implement standard processes.Prepare engineering reports in a timely fashion, to provide loss prevention recommendations and loss expectancies to support client risk improvement. Collaborate with Operations Engineering, Client Services, Account Management and Underwriting on Boiler & Machinery recommendations.Conduct boiler and pressure vessel jurisdictional inspections as needed.Illustrate the valuable differential of FM Global engineering capabilities.Engineers must be able to manage their time and work independently with minimal supervision.This is a field-based role and will require travel to large, complex industrial client sites to evaluate the operations and systems of the site and identify risks and hazards. Expected overnight travel is 25%-30% on average.Based on a candidate's previous experience, this role can be for either a Consultant Engineer II or Sr. Consultant Engineer.
