With 170 offices across North America, we combine the personalized service model of a local consultant with the global resources of the world's leading professional services firm, Marsh McLennan (NYSE: MMC).A day in the life.The Sales Insurance Associate helps facilitate the day-to-day operation of MMA Private Client Services Northeast Region Sales. This entails collaborating with the regional sales teams to provide critical support including quoting, risk reporting, proposals, onboarding, and other projects. This role provides a career path and exposure into our broader sales organization.As our Sales Insurance Associate on the Private Client Services team, you'll:Assist in the new business process by quoting with our various carrier partners, creating proposals, binding, client meetings, documenting and auditing client files and special projects.Assist in the new business process by establishing Applied file, creating binders, identification cards, cancellation forms, new client onboarding, and coordination of new business policy delivery.Process endorsements, mortgagee/lienholder inquiries, client identification requests, and billing inquiries.Facilitate day-to-day operation of sales colleagues by updating team library and carrier directories.Quote coverages via carrier websites, locate carrier specific information, and obtain policy declarations.Provide support to Manager/team with event planning, scheduling, and projects as required.Interact with colleagues to assure work assignments given are prioritized as to importance, date needed, and are delivered error-free and prior to deadline.Our future colleague.We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:Colleague Degree and 2 years of personal lines insurance experience preferred.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite be able to navigate through multiple systems without assistance.Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.Detail oriented to ensure accuracy.Possess self-discipline, self-motivation, and ability to meet assigned objectives.Holds appropriate P&C license or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:P & C licensedPrevious experience servicing High Net Worth ClienteleProficiency in the daily use of carrier websites for the purposes of quoting, locating carrier specific information and obtaining policy declarations as needed.We know there are excellent candidates who might not check all of these boxes. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
