The Product Specialist focuses on optimizing the end-user experience of a product by understanding user pain points, identifying and communicating the top issues to internal stakeholders, and providing recommendations backed by data for how to address the top support issues and improve the user experience. This Product Specialists will build an understanding of our end-users, competitors and the specific challenges and needs the product intends to address. They will build empathy for users by understanding personas and their needs and they advocate for the importance of usable, high-quality products that enable our clients to do their best work. The Product Specialist will develop expertise in this product line by providing the second level of support after support desk escalation. They will focus on timely resolution and proper escalation to engineering. They may also help more experienced teammates measure and optimize the user experience by identifying and communicating the top support issues, and providing recommendations backed by data for how to address them to improve the user experience.
