SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:The Credit Administration Assistant will be responsible for preparing loan portfolio reports and serve as a back-up to the closing specialist and review loan documentation packages for accuracy before processing the corresponding loans.Additionally, the individual will underwrite credit requests and prepare a credit analysis report on domestic and foreign loans. Initially, the employee will be assigned basic loan requests that represent minimal risk to the Bank and as the employee progresses in mastering the credit underwriting function, the junior analyst will engage in preparing analysis of higher complexity. The employee is expected to reach a full knowledge of credit underwriting before being promoted to the next level position. The employee is expected to study the Bank's loan policies and follow these guidelines when exerting the functions. The incumbent is expected to cross-train and learn other duties managed by the credit departments as assigned by the supervisor.PRINCIPAL DUTIES: A. Prepares on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis a variety of reports submitted to Head Office, Management, and RegulatorsB. Serve as a back-up to the closing specialist and review loan documentation packages for accuracy before processing the corresponding loans.C. Prepares credit analysis reports for use by lending officers and the Bank's respective Credit Committees for their consideration to approve or deny credit facilities for domestic and foreign corporations and individuals.
