Project Director

SUMMARY:The Project Director (PD) is responsible for the overall leadership and execution of projects and people. The Project Director leads the project team and promotes collaboration between CSM Group, design team, and the client. The PD provides guidance through recommended design improvements, construction techniques, and schedules, while seeking construction economies. While monitoring cost and progress information of construction activities, the Project Director ensures the owner's best interests are served. The PD brings continuity and process efficiencies to projects and is involved entirely from the pre-construction phase through project closeout. The Project Director also pursues new business opportunities in conjunction with the sales and marketing team by participating in client interviews and the RFP process.This position reports directly the Vice President of their respective Market Segment. Assigned Project Managers and Project Coordinators report directly to the PD for their work on projects.Travel may be required to job local area sites multiple times per week. May include overnight travel to job sites out of the geographical area on an as-needed basis. This is a full time FLSA exempt position. The position requires 40 work hours per week with the ability to work more if necessary.
