RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Payroll Analyst in Jersey City, NJ.Summary:As a Payroll Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing payroll operations for our clients across various Canadian provinces. Responsibilities will include processing payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with federal and provincial regulations, resolving payroll discrepancies, and providing excellent customer service to our clients.Key Responsibilities: Payroll Analyst will process payroll for clients in Canadian provinces, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant federal and provincial regulations Calculate wages, deductions, and withholdings accurately, including taxes, benefits, and garnishments Validate timekeeping records and resolve any discrepancies Generate payroll reports for clients and internal stakeholders Address inquiries from clients regarding payroll-related matters promptly and professionally As a Payroll Analyst, you will stay updated on changes to payroll legislation and regulations in Canadian provinces Collaborate with the HR team to ensure accurate employee data and seamless payroll processing Utilize ADP Payroll software proficiently to perform payroll tasks efficiently Provide support and training to clients on using payroll software and processes effectivelyREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred 5+ years of payroll experience specific to Canada Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a multi-provincial environment ADP experience Working knowledge of ADP Payroll software is required Strong understanding of Canadian payroll legislation and regulations, including federal and provincial tax laws Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing payroll data Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Fluency in both English and French is essential for effective communication with clients and internal stakeholders Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave. Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
