The Department of Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Houston invites applicants for a non-tenure track Professor of Practice faculty appointment.The selected candidate will provide and coordinate coaching and mentoring support for UH-ACP teaching interns in the College of Education Teacher Preparation Program, including but not limited to professional development (synchronous and asynchronous, face-to-face and virtual), formal observations with feedback, informal coaching visits, and coordination between university and district supports.Interested candidates should provide a cover letter, curriculum vitae, and the names and contact information for three references.
